“…what the Holy Spirit mobilizes is not an unruly activism, but above all an attentiveness which considers the other ‘in a certain sense as one with ourselves’. This loving attentiveness is the beginning of a true concern for their person which inspires me effectively to seek their good. This entails appreciating the poor in their… Read More »

“Charity must never look to the past, but always to the future, because the number of its past works is still very small and the present and future miseries that it must alleviate are infinite.” (Frédéric Ozanam, Letter to Leonce Curnier, 23-Feb-1835)
The Giving Tree will be in the Narthex during Thanksgiving week. The tree will be adorned with paper ornaments, each describing an age-appropriate gift for a member of a family supported by SVDP efforts. Please consider taking an ornament and bringing some Christmas cheer to the hearts of people in need.
There will be a special collection at the 9:00am Mass on Thanksgiving Day morning for the benefit of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for the poor. Envelopes that can be used for donations will be in the back of the church starting 11/18. As always, thank you for your kindness and support.
