We share a client in East Brunswick who we helped in the summer with an electric bill and we have been delivering groceries. Today when I was dropping off groceries she came to the car with a card and two boxes of candy. She was crying and told me how much the SVDP team meant to her and her family and how much we helped out in a time of desperation. She told me she felt we helped without judging and also appreciated how quickly electricity was turned on. The groceries we deliver monthly help to make ends meet and she appreciates all we do. Yes, it takes a village and all of the members responded so quickly. It made my day and hopefully it will yours.
